Place the plywood pieces on support blocks. Clamp the plywood and support blocks firmly to the work surface. Because hole saws can wander a bit until the drill bit bites into the wood, drill pilot holes at each crosshair. Choose a drill bit with a sharp point, like a brad point drill bit.
