After i downloaded the simple lightscribe labeler from the link i provided and did the exact steps i posted above, i was able to label a cd with text. After doing that i installed a copy of nero9 and ran the compatiblity troubleshooter the same way and was able to install it. I am now able to make advanced template labels. I didn't have any luck with that method but I was able to employ another work-around as provided by Steve over at lightscribe.

He has a DL link for the system files. That solution has not had any effect on my inability to use the Lightscribe feature within Nero Cover Designer. Still can't print labels from that program. I can use the labeller but now can't write data to a lightscribe disk.

I've found on W10, that some programs will work after a reboot, even though there is no hint in the setup. Go figger. Turned off my Antivirus, clicked install LS and it went through without any problems.

Now I have a sore arm from patting myself on my back. Thank you Clif1 that may have been the reason others might not have gotten it to install.

Clash of Clans. Subway Surfers. TubeMate 3. Google Play. Then release the mouse button and the text box Properties window will appear. Click OK when finished. The text will appear in a box on the label. Use the resize boxes to adjust the text box and the "X" icon to reposition the entire text box.

To change the properties of the text box, click on the Selection tool icon in the left toolbar and double-click on the text box. The Properties window will appear.
